"Five stars and if I could, I'd give six. This place hits all the right notes for customer-centered sales and service. I'd been struggling to find an affordable and reliable used SUV in today's market when I came across Drive Time's listing for a Yukon XL Denali with relatively low miles. Though located more than an hour away from me, I made the drive and I am so glad I did. Their 2013 Yukon was super clean, both in person and on paper, which I could verified thanks to a complimentary CarFax report. Because I'd been looking for months, my research on prices was extensive, so I knew Drive Time's price was good. Still, I'm a haggler, so I haggled. In the process, I came to see Sam and Wassem, the two sales associates who worked with me, focused as much on what I wanted and needed as they were focused on selling their car. Though the price was already decent, they did adjust it downward because, well, I can be persistent. My fear when purchasing any used car is not knowing what problems are not readily visible or apparent. Usually, I have my local mechanic inspect any used car I'm thinking of getting. But given the distance, that wasn't possible for the Yukon. So I bit the bullet and purchased the vehicle without an inspection. I immediately took it to my mechanic, who did identify a few minor issues along with a couple of relatively major issues. Here came my biggest surprise. Though I'd already purchased the vehicle, and he were under no obligation to me whatsoever, Wassem offered to remedy some of the more major issues in their in-house servicing center. Waseem's mechanic also discovered a fairly big problem with the front wheel bearings that my own mechanic failed to notice, and they fixed that too. (For one of the repairs, I did pay for the parts, but Waseem covered all the labor.) To repeat, once I drove it off their lot, nothing obligated them to offer any follow-up service, but they did anyway. This has won me over as a repeat customer should I never need another used vehicle, because what matters to me is honesty and great customer service. Drive Time overflows with both."
